Proud to be part of

Anti Bullying Ambassadors

Our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors are a dedicated team of six Year 5 pupils who play a vital role in making our school a safe, friendly and welcoming place for everyone. Trained and supported by Miss Truswell, they meet regularly to develop their skills in listening, problem-solving and peer support.

Each Friday, the ambassadors are available on the playground for children who may be feeling worried about friendships, experiencing repeated fallouts, or who want to talk about concerns related to unkind behaviour or bullying. Their role is not to judge but to listen, understand what has happened, and help children find fair and positive solutions. They work closely with staff to ensure any concerns are followed up appropriately.

In addition to their weekly playground sessions, the Anti-Bullying Ambassadors lead awareness campaigns and deliver workshops for classes and parents throughout the year. These sessions focus on recognising bullying, understanding its impact, and learning how to respond safely and confidently. They also promote key messages about respect, kindness and the importance of celebrating differences.

By giving pupils a voice and empowering them to support one another, our Anti-Bullying Ambassador programme helps to build a culture where everyone feels valued, heard and safe. We are incredibly proud of their commitment and the positive impact they are making across our school community.
