At Benjamin Adlard Primary School, we are proud to introduce our newly elected ECO Warriors for this academic year. Following a pupil election process, seven enthusiastic representatives from across the school have been chosen to lead our environmental work and help make a positive difference within our school community.

Our ECO Warriors will play a key role in promoting sustainability and encouraging everyone to take responsibility for protecting our environment. This year, the team will be focusing on a range of exciting projects, including:

• Reducing our school’s carbon footprint
• Promoting energy efficiency and reducing wasted energy
• Encouraging recycling and reducing waste
• Raising awareness of environmental issues
• Supporting biodiversity and outdoor learning opportunities
• Developing new eco-friendly initiatives across the school

The ECO Warriors will work closely with staff and pupils to gather ideas, monitor progress, and inspire positive environmental action throughout the year.

To keep our school community informed, we will also be launching The LEAFlet, our termly digital eco newsletter, which will provide updates on the team's projects, achievements, upcoming events, and tips on how families can support environmental sustainability at home.

We are excited to see what our ECO Warriors achieve this year as they help make Benjamin Adlard Primary School an even greener and more environmentally conscious place to learn and grow.

Together, we can make a difference! 🌱
