Proud to be part of

Dare To Be Different

Children from Key Stage Two volunteer to lead the ‘Dare To Be Different’ class assembly.

The ‘Dare To Be Different’ assembly includes everyone in our school who wants to share their story and celebrate being different. Children use the assembly to take a sense of pride in their background.

We ask the child to share with the rest of the key stage who they are, where they are from, what impact they have on our society and what makes them different.

We give children and families the opportunity to showcase their stories using pictures, artefacts or presentation. These pictures and artefacts are displayed around school to celebrate the people in our school/community.
