Modern Foreign Languages (French)
The learning of a foreign language provides a valuable educational, social and cultural experience for the pupils.
Language learning starts at Benjamin Adlard in Key Stage 1. Children progressively acquire, use, and apply a growing bank of vocabulary, language skills and grammatical knowledge organised around age-appropriate topics and themes.
From Key Stage 2, children have a weekly French lesson to lay the foundations for future foreign language learning at secondary school.
