Anti Bullying Week 2025
For Anti Bullying Week 2025, our whole school has been learning how we can all play a part in creating a kind, respectful and inclusive community.
Each class has explored the difference between friendship fallouts, constant clashes, and bullying, and how we can respond to each one in positive ways.
What We’ve Learnt
- Friendship Fallouts: Friends sometimes disagree — that’s normal! We’ve learnt how to talk it through, say sorry and make things right.
- Constant Clashes: Sometimes two people just don’t get along. It’s not bullying, but it’s still important to be respectful and find ways to get along.
- Bullying: We’ve talked about what bullying really means — when someone is hurt on purpose, more than once, and there’s an imbalance of power. We’ve explored what to do if we see or experience bullying and how to be an upstander, not a bystander.
- Neurodiversity: We’ve also been learning about how everyone’s brain works differently. Some people find it harder to manage their emotions or reactions — we discussed how to show understanding, patience and kindness to everyone.
Together, we have a school where every child feels safe, valued and accepted — a place where kindness happens every day. 💛
