At Benjamin Adlard Primary School, children can volunteer to be Eco Warriors. Our Eco Warriors take their role very seriously and understand that we all play a part in the role of making our school more sustainable.

This group is made up of two representatives from each year group (Years 2 to 6), who attend a meeting once every half term. In these meetings the children, along with a teacher, discuss ways of improving our school to make it more eco-friendly.

The Eco Warriors strive to raise the school’s awareness about sustainability by organising presentations, assemblies and workshops to encourage everyone to recycle and reuse, thus saving energy and to be more mindful of the world we live in.
